914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Front trunk welding Part 2

Posted by: Bleyseng Feb 3 2003, 12:01 AM

Well, I finally got the new panel all welding in and finished out. Just need to get some paint to match -nepal orange
Definately tired of leaning over the front bumper to work on this thing. I am not a body worker so this sh*t takes me too much time.

Just remember, you don't have to use a cutting torch to cut a hole in the bottom if the cable breaks....duh! DPO!

Damn! I know who I will be calling!! Have welder will travel.

So how much amperage do I need in my garage Geoff? Is 110 ok? You do battery trays while the engine is still in the car right?

110v welder should have a dedicated 15A circuit breaker.

Geoff,

I know it's been said, but as an aspiring amateur welder I gotta say that is one FINE piece of work. pray.gif
