i have a 2004 audi a4 1.8t drove to work then after work went out wont start checked for gas good spark good checked timing belt good number 1 cylinder 190 number 2 cylinder 120 number 3 cylinder 110 and number 4 cylinder 130 and ideas
Timing belt skipped a tooth or two?
Probably not. Likely some sensor. It'll still run a couple teeth off.
Check your crank position sensor.
Throws all the compression out cause the engine looses correct firing order,my BMW did the same but it had a "limp home" mode had the power of a scooter .
Get the car scanned to isolate the problem otherwise you will be chasing your tail and spending $$$.
My same car (Audi) crapped the MAF sensor ,didn't code correctly so cleaned it,got 2 months and it went replaced it and sold the car still going with 200KMs on it ...very strong little engines its just the all the sh#t that hangs off them go's wrong .
