This is the 228RWhp 914-6 I work on only a few times a year. Nice car, it has all the goodies most of us dream of. Those are 17's in the back and 16's in the front. He is getting 17's for the front.

More pics please...
Those are 275's in the rear. Trans cooler, front oil cooler, BIG Brakes blah, blah. Roll cage, GT stiff kit and some other tube braces that attatch to the sups ears. VERY tight car. You take a jack to any corner and the whole car picks up. It's that stiff. FYI it's a 70 914-6 (original).

Still have one tail dragger that I finished up just today. The 914-6 was getting a rebuilt pedal cluster, change of fluids, tech inspect ect. Here is a shot of Sklines old 914 still in the process of being "Rootized".

Most of you that have seen me know that I am abou 5'5" 150lbs and I still have to climb into this thing.

Rear grill, GT style, sort of. Cool though, I like it.

Looks like the one shot of Scott's old 914 didn't make it up. Here is a couple showing the front and rear lids, oh engine lid too. Michelle and I sanded the bottom sides and painted them. First paint to go on the latest Root six conversion.

Sort of hard to make out the color, but it is a Porsche stone grey from the late 80's. Really nice understated color I think. I am still waiting on the flares from AA. Engine was picked up today and I didn't have time to pick up the 2.7 that will soon power this little 914.

What are the 17 inch rears? Look like Fuchs. Are they Fuchs centers bolted to two piece rims?

Dan the least of their problems, Heck they were gonna build a Nasty Car track in his backyard. Fuch centerd 3piece. |
What width rims does he have? Oh, and are those flares factory size, or have they been massaged a bit? Hard to tell on a black car from the photo. Looks awesome though.

I figured this would be a good thread to update. This 914-6 got "bumped" at a track event a few weeks ago. I took it to a body shop on Monday. Got a perfect rear chrome bumper from CAMP914 and new rubber top from GPR. I'll sqaure away the tail pipe/muffler when I get the car back. Sucks, but it's getting fixed right.

You can tell a little better the extent of the damage. He out braked a Vette coming into a corner.

Dan, I'm curious as to how that dual outlet muffler sounds....pretty loud?
Pretty Loud and pretty friggen cool. I open it up a lot.
Just a corner shot of the flared black six all fixed up now. Craig and Kevin had a chance to drive it around a little.

I installed a tail on an 88' 911. L347 is the color code. Nice color.

Nuther shot. Probably the last of anything I can paint this year. I don't have a heater in the garage.

I missed those dent pics earlier.
Glad it's fixed now

Been a while since I posted anything to this, pullin engines, putting together Bugs, throwing stuff on my own little 914. Fun Fun Fun!
I saw you driving down Evergreen way the other day. I wasn't in my 914, but I past this truck to see a nice little black 914-6. Looks nice. I hope to see it up close soon. I see you have a Skline special too. I used to have one, but Jeff took it off my hands. I only had took a $5,500 loss on it
Dan is the blue 911 your's? Nice looking color. How is the garage expansion coming?
Craig
nice work area dan. i bet michelle likes garage parking when she gets home from work. looks like you'll be giving John-Mansville (insulation) and U.S. Gypsum some $$$. when's the gwb hanging party?

Working and driving 914's this weekend! Friggen-an-egg, it's just sunny and warm out this weekend. FINALLY!

We moved, so no more big garage, but we're accross the street from a lake, so a trade off worth it.
Gosh dang I love this weather this weekend. Gonna go drive now, later.

Sweet, wish I would have swung by. Went to a car show today and was a little disappointed with what was there. Too much old American and no neat Euro stuff... well, very little. There was a cool 914-6 but my buddy brought a 2001 Diablo that really made my car look silly next to it
lake stevens...don't you just love the sound of open header V-8 boats on the water in the am?
Couple weeks old, but got to replace a starter on a cool 89' turbo.

Told the dude to drive his car a little more often and check the mouse trap for gods sake!
