Saturday November 11th, 11:30 am @ the Devine Swine BBQ restaurant Manheim PA. (Across from the Renaissance Fair). Myself, Dion, Saigon71, Okieflyr and Mepstein thought we would get together for lunch and get our cars out. Before it gets too cold and messy. If anyone else would like to join us come on out. The more the merrier!! :b
Tied up with out of town company or I would be there.
That’s too bad Ralph. I still have your trophy from Flanders and am looking forward to a tour of your wine making setup. Added another teener friend who isn’t on World to join us.
1500 miles for me this week.
What's a couple hundred more for friends the next day?
Good times!
Hmmm, no reason I can’t really since this is 10mins from my house.
Are you guys planning anything beyond lunch? I could lead on a seriously awesome mountain run north of Lebanon if you wanted??? Would take us about 2.5 hrs round trip.
It’s been 2 years since last meet at Divine Swine. This pic is from Nov 7,2015!
Bobs’ car & mine. Wow, can’t believe mine has been off the road 2 years already. Tempus fugit.

Hey Dave
Hmmmm 2 hours away
Missed Flanders, Oh well.
I'd love to be there.....to see your car and meet the Pa. guys but too much
going on at home
I'll probably have to wait till April.
Rory
Rory , it’s a shame you can’t make it. Would have been good to catch up.
Ted,
If I can keep my plans intact I'd be interested in a mountain drive.
Kevin
That sounds fun. November is hard. Though at this point what month for me isn't hard. *huge frusterated eye rolls*
Zach
I wish I could make it but have family stuff. Would be great to meet everyone and it's only an hour from me. Hopefully next time.
3 hours each way but I'm still considering it. My 914 is still in the shop so I'll be in my Miata (everybody saw it at Okteenerfest) if I grow a wild hair.
I just hope the weather holds. Looks like the high is 39. Should make things interesting on summer rubber. Lol
We will give each other plenty of room while we’re driving. No need trade paint. Hahaha. Drive mine to work this morning to test the heat. The GHL exchangers seem to throw less heat than the stock 4 cylinder setup. Or maybe I just remember it wrong being it’s been so long. Worked pretty good out on the turnpike. Had to back it off , so I should be good on Saturday. It will be a good test. Can’t wait to see everyone.
Phase 1: Back in Town
Phase 2: Charged the battery a bit and started up the teener
Phase 3: Hot air coming from the heater core
Ready to roll for BBQ
Going to need that heater tomorrow!!!
If anyone wants to caravan. Some of us will be at the PETER J. CAMIEL service area westbound mile marker 304 around 10:15. If we leave there at 10:30 it’s an hour to the “SWINE”.
Sorry guys. I have to bail due to sudden need from work. One of the drawbacks of being a special project nurse. Have fun. If y’all still wanna go just follow 72 north to Gold Mine Rd and turn left. A little research with google maps will show easy it is to navigate.
Hopefully another time.
Too bad Ted. Next time for sure.
Just text me if you have any problems
Take and post pics.
By my calculations, If I start driving right now, I could be there Monday at 3 PM if you guys could just wait. Much appreciated.
Had a great time at lunch today! Good food and hilarious conversations. Hopefully Howard will post the group picture of our mugs. Some of us went to the AACA museum after. Good times.
Enjoyed the company and the outing.
Great time catching up with everyone. Lots of laughs.
Nice meeting Paul & Judy for the first time as well as Bob from Bordentown.
Okieflyr has a very cool motor in that 1.8T. Look forward to meeting up again.
Howard get that six running! Hehehe I need a fellow 2.4 owner to commiserate with that’s local
Be safe!

Really like the forward date on the silver 914. It looks so life like.
