Doris and I just got back from the Bay Area 914Club breakfast. I counted 33 attendees...not bad for a holiday weekend!
Thanks Jenny for organizing!...It was nice to see everyone...

Thanks for posting the pics so quickly, Bill. I'm so happy you and Doris were in town and able to make it today! I only wished I had a chance to talk to you both! Oh well. You'll just have to come out for these events more! I had a great time, and it was an awesome turnout!
Jen
Wish you would put some names with the pics so those who dont know can put a face to the name.
nice turnout!
even traffic going back wasn't too bad ...
now all we have to do is find a 914 for Mer ....

It was nice to see ya' all again!! Thanks for the picts Bill - nice ride!
Thanks Rob!
I'll be walking our dog by your house later this weekend. I gotta check out that new "tow vehicle"..
Bill P.
Mer, I have a nice red car. Do you like red?
Bill, I'm editing your posts to add names...
When you say "car" you mean "914", right?
Red is nice...
What's a 914?
*Sigh.* That's what I figured. You trick me AND you have better hair than me. This sucks.
-Mer
Looks like I slept in on the wrong day...I'll make the next one now that my car "seems" to be running right.

...can't blame me...McMark's / Jenny are busy editing my picture posts to add names...I didn't have time during posting to put the names in. I've been working on a rental restoration all day...gotta get that thing back together to get the cashflow coming in again!...
Thanks for adding the mames Jenny and Mark!

Yeah, that was my fault Gwen. I hadn't met you until today. I guess I still haven't technically met you. I screwed up Tom Trudell and Richard Lindsall as well. And I wracked my brain but couldn't come up with Marty Yeoman either. Oh well, next time.

Crap, didn't meet Gwen or Roger. I didn't even recognize Lyressa (new do?) , it's been so long. Well my excuse is that my daughter is very demanding for attention. This is her third 914club breakfast/lunch and she's bugging me to get my car running.
It was nice to meet Eric (takuhara), Richard, and Ed.
Here's a few pics:

Thanks for organizing it all Jen! Appears a good time was had by all! Seemed like I saw more flared fenders than at WCC '05! Damn I want a car to fool around with! Just need to convince the Boss!
Come on Carl, let Mer have your Sixer! (Honest, she didn't ask me to say that)
This was an awesome turnout, considering I didn't plan it until tuesday, and it's memorial day weekend. If you all keep coming out to these events, I'll keep planning them. "Plan it, and they will come"
BTW, I think Leo's got a fun-run in mind, ending up @ Stinson Beach for a clam bake. Speak up Leo!

No trick. Better hair. |
Sorry I missed this one too.
No excuse other than I think I'm not making a single event this year! Just too busy.
Sure looked like a great time!
Seems to me next Sunday is Parts Heaven swap meet. Is there any practical way we 914 people could arrange to park together? I can't imagine anyone would want to be anywhere else for half a day. I'll be there (even running out on the grandkids). Scott Pickering aka Gramps aka scott914poor.
Yep, the Parts Heaven swap meet is next Sunday. As I recall, being in an office park, there is ample space around the corner from the site and since its a Sunday, should be no problem finding/designating space.
Thanks for a great event. Mike, Leo, Marty, Tom, Eric, Jon, it was great meeting you. Mike and Marty, I apologize for leaving abruptly, I had to pickup my daughter. McMark did an outstanding job on my car. I am very happy it could be 'unveiled' at the breakfast.
Lots of wonderful cars with interesting stories and histories. I look forward to future events.
Ed
