This tin was on my motor from the PO. In between the head intake ports both sides have pop riveted pieces. I dont like the look and am thinking of removing this small triangle on each side. Will I be losing any considerable amount of cooling by doing This? Does anyone sell repo 2.0 engine tin?

Actually, that's not a bad fix. I'd leave it (and paint it black)!
