914World.com _ 914World Garage _ for those running 944 hubs/ 911spindles

so i have a 78 911 spindle setup, w/ some early 944 hubs and 911 rotors-which are the same as the 911 rotors actually. Now i had to space the calipers to fit the rotor since the hubs sit closer to the a-arms now than the stock ones. I noticed while lowering the car that the ball joint started to hit the rotor or get extremely close when it got too low. I took and "contoured" the outer point of the arm down for added clearance, but i also raised the car back up alot. Im thinking im gonna need some 911 hubs after all..anyone using 944 hubs with this problem. anyone have any 911 hubs?? smile.gif

you need to space the whole hub out about 1/4"

VCI makes spacers
