Mine has some scratches. Has anyone painted theirs? If so, what color did you use?

I haven't done the column yet but will be soon and have repainted the instrument panel and other trim. I used EDIT: SEM trim black (#39143)based on recommendations from folks here. That's what I'll use for the steering wheel and column too.

I disassembled down to the bare shells and had them powder coated satin black. Had to replace the ignition switch and converted the windshield washer portion to an electric switch for pump.

On my '73 I used rustoleum satin black. Close match but it's not as durable as powder coat. If you do decide to use powder, def test the color first. The "satin black" from Eastwood is almost flat, Their semi-gloss is a lot closer.
