914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Headlight leaks

Posted by: gulf908 Jan 28 2018, 04:05 AM

having some leaks into the headlights and thought I saw some tadpoles yesterday ....
I did a search here but I think I'm putting the wrong words in
I found something in passing a long time ago that suggested the only longterm solution was to drill some small drainage hole/s but I can't find it again
does anyone have some links for this subject - I assume I should address it sooner rather than later

TIA

I would just replace the headlight. It is not that expensive and will be an easy fix.

Are you referring to the sealed beam headlights? The actual light bulb? These shouldn't leak at all and if so, just replace them. In pairs of course in case there's a difference in light output or color temperature from the old lights.
