914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Different 2.0 liter injectors

Posted by: Rotten Robby Jun 3 2005, 08:44 AM

I notice that when you check with different suppliers, the 2.0 liter injector is split into early and late parts and the prices are different. I speculate that the early injector had a greater flow and the later less due to the snorkled down exhaust system that was cobbled together to meet emission standards.
I am wondering if anyone knows the real deal here and if one flows more fuel than the other can they be interchanged...
Your thoughts?

Thats a good question, I dont know if there is a difference or not. I think the Kaptn would know so I will bump this up so he will see it and maybe he will chime in. I always thought the green ones were for the 2 liter and didnt know about a year difference.
