914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 914/6 fuel line question

Posted by: Tdskip Feb 25 2018, 01:52 PM

Happy Sunday to you all.

Standard fuel lines on a 1974 OK for a 3.0 L CIS system? Do I need to be doing anything special on the wines or part of the standard steel ones in the car OK?

Thanks!

Steel ones are perfect. If you had some fire breathing carbed motor it might be different but cis won’t suck down the fuel.

THe stock '73 fuel lines in the tunnel are not made to take the high pressure that a fuel injection pump puts out.
If you relocate the pump to the front of the car you should definitely replace the tunnel lines.
