I am trying to remove baked on brake dust from ( inside) of a set of 911 Fuchs wheels.....Without screwing up the polished side...
Any experience .....Trying to get surface to attach wheel weights ( shop wouldn't even address ( understandably).
Thanks

I bought a little steam cleaner. Used it on my underbody, suspension and brake parts. Worked brilliantly. Had to be patient under the body as it wasn't too big but just took my time. Awesome for smaller parts.Attached Image

Go to the Dollar Store and get a quart bottle of Amaze cleaner. Give it a try.

I use brake kleen. Spray, soak, wipe, repeat. Wear gloves. Lots of fresh air.

Yes, BTDT. A green scrubby pad helps. The longer you can hold the brake clean against the dust the better it works.

Get the stuff with chlorine if you can, it’s stronger.
