Guys,

My strut install on my sentra took a lot longer than planned (8 months!). The disk on one sidce is really rusty were I left it exposed to the air in my car port. Should I replace it or just drive it and let the pads do their magic?

Depends but if it's good as far as material thickness... drive it. The rust should be off by the time you make it to the corner.

maybe hit some of the buildup with a crosshatch of 80-grit sandpaper, but there's no reason to go crazy with it.
