It's not that easy being green;
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold...
or something much more colorful like that.

It's not easy being green.
It seems you blend in with so many other ord'nary things.
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water
or stars in the sky.

But green's the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important like a mountain,
or tall like a tree.

When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why?
Wonder, I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be.

Brer, maybe you have the wrong shade -o-green . I always get lookies and wavies but you're right, it's not easy being green! How did that bumper top work out for you? AL

I'm not sure about that...my next 914 will be a greenie...same as brer's if I can manage it. That is a bad-ass color.

bumper top is looking sweet!
I was too busy driving the car this weekend to put it on.
Hopefully this week sometime.

Gearing up for some mechanical soon, shiftbushings and motor mounts and a set of those swivel feet rockers i have yet to order. Thinking i'll do over the 4th weekend.

Every time it grinds a little going into first its a little piece of my heart. wub.gif

It must be really different living over there. Didja know I've not seen a "finished" 914 on the streets where I live in YEARS. John (Stock93) came by in his once, but its not really a very complete road car- really a track car. I've seen 'em on track at SCCA events, and I understand from John that there are a few more around here ( I even gotta friend with a rotary conversion, but he doesn't run it (ax) anymore. I've not seen any others. Maybe I would like to get with other teensters, but I kinda enjoy being the only one....
