Andy, got more details on the street 914's? Is this like the WCC04 photo op?

yes. no, not like the WCC, this time you get a chance to drive more than just half a lap ...

it'll be like parade laps of sorts, more track time for the street cars.
the complete details haven't been worked out yet,

but i won't let another fiasko like that "WCC half lap" happen again ...

why isn't this a nailed/ sticky keeping this event at the top?

why isn't this a nailed/ sticky keeping this event at the top?

because just bumping it usually keeps it more "in peoples face" ...

i'll bump it up for a few more days to make sure everybody has looked at it, then it'll be nailed ...

people tend to overlook nailed threads unless they have a personal interest in that thread ...

If I'm reading the info on the site correct, a six would have a 102db sound limit. That should be doable for me, as the last event at Thunderhill they had a 103db limit and I was okay. I've gotta do something about my car looking like Barney Fifes patrol cruiser, I guess I could put some blue and red lights on the dash if nothing else.

Looks like a nice event. I'm making plans to attend.

What is the deal on 914world.com sponsoring a party? Doesn't this need funding?

This event sounds like fun. I plan on being there. No racing license but looking forward to the noon on-track session.

I'm in for 914 corral and street on-track. Maybe for camping, too, but not if its going to be a winter survival type of thing. John

Posted by: trekkor Jun 10 2005, 08:02 PM

I can negotiate a group motel rate if anyone is interested.
I always stay at the Marina Super8 for all the a/x's at Marina.

Do we want to do an all 914 a/x on Monday the 31st? unsure.gif
