914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Got a welder here repairing PO's sins

The PO loved using a 5/8 in drill bit. Looks like he installed a lighted reflector in the back. I got a guy here TIG welding the holes up right now

Those holes make it go faster- aerodynamics!

He probably used a hole saw.

Those reflectors were very common to make it look like a 911. I had one. Had to fix the same holes when I took it off.

We see a lot of those reflectors on 914's. I have never been a fan of that look. I am glad to see you removed it and are repairing the panel. beerchug.gif

I know I filled in my emblem holes. Once I finish body and paint I'm putting the European VW Porsche emblem

I always liked the look. I'll have some break lights behind mine some day. Soon. When I get around to it. biggrin.gif
