I am cleaning my original Bosch, 3-port fuel pump. It sat for 30 years. What does it sound like when it is running properly. Yes, I have it in a bucket of petrol.

If you throw it into a pond it sounds like "sploosh."
Ok, we've joked enough. I think I'd soak it in some good toxic chemicals to disolve and flush the gunk. Then if it functions, use it.

Has a semi-quiet standalone electric fuel pump sound that goes buzzz. If you like horse power then it is like a woman whispering in your ear

Then, much like a horse urinating on a flat rock?
