I've got a 74 914, frozen 1.8 with lots of rust. had been sitting in a field for 10 years. Now its been at my house for 8 years. Better to part it out or sell it whole? Hell hole rusted, rear trunk hinges rusted, floors rusted. Lots of rust. I bought it on a bill of sale to use as a donor car. That's not going to happen. What do you think?

sadly these types of (rusted out) cars are usually worth more in parts than a whole car. You have to factor in your time to take apart, sell and maybe ship the parts in the value also. If you feel it is worth the effort to do that then part it, if not sell it as a whole and get it out of your way.

I could use a part or two if you decide to part it. 18 years of shelf abuse isn’t something many of these cars come back from...
