914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Gauge Dash Frame Looks Off?

I am pretty certain that my dash frame that the gauge cluster mounts to leans toward passenger side of car. (Not level at least relative to the rest of the dash). Is it me or is this a known quirk with the car? No noticeable repairs where someone might have made repairs either. Looks odd to me. Thanks in advance for any input.

Never torn mine down, but looks good with the shroud. Yours is stunningly off. Did you even notice if was so off with the binacle/shroud on?

Car has always been a project. Didnt pay attention to it when shroud was on.

Could it just be that we are comparing the contour of the gauge panel to the cowl? These will never match, but may be tricking the eyes. Try measuring the height of the gauge panel frame on each side to see if they're equal.
