I know I hadn't been here in quite some time, but I knew you guys would appreciate this. It tells it's own story. Looks like ass, but seems to be very solid including the longs. 10/72 and I'm trying to score the motor from the son of the guy that had it. Hoping for a 2.0L

What a beauty in a rusty kinda way
Has a little patina, could be a diamond in the ruff.
Clear coat over it. “Free” and all!
I like it !
A gallon of this will solve your problem
As the Poor Man said, "It's Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" So cal guys may get the reference

A true east coast beauty--even the top looks rusty
We need more pics!
Well, you guys nailed it! Think I’m going to go rat rod. Got a text the other day from a mechanic friend, who has the entire running gear suspension and brakes for the car, off of a car stripped for a racer. $1800 buys everything including a fresh motor. Think I will clear coat right over the rust and assemble the car as is. I know it’s ugly, but looks to be very straight in solid, including the longs!!
It should follow you home....it has no place to go...Poor car.
I’m sure it will buff out!
It's worth every penny of the asking price
I would love to do a Patina 914! Combine this with a clean interior with Orange houndstooth cloth and widened steel hubcap wheels with a substantial drop and it could be a killer looker!
That would be a perfect car for a v8 swap
I wonder what the hell hole looks like.
The patina look is in.
