My car with the Minilites is 914 043 1095
The other car is 914 043 1108
Thirteen apart.

My engine is 6404638
The other car has engine 6404639 !!!!!!!! Bingo !
Consecutive engine numbers !!
There's more.
My friend EJ got his 6 # 1208 a few months ago and needed someone to
reassemble it. The car had sat as a stalled restoration since 1991
The engine had been rebuilt but was never started
I'm the lucky guy who did the honors.
Unbelievably, the engine had been rebuilt by Fred Apgar, who I worked for in 1978 !
Here they are in my driveway today.

This is fantastic!
Very cool!
Totally awesome! Congratulations!
Pretty amazing !! Even more so is the fact they are the same color.
I used to own #1205, it's in Nashville now; green metallic with light tan smooth grain interiro
Beautiful Tangerine Sixes
Super cool...
Great job!!
I thought I was seeing double.
Great job!!
I thought I was seeing double.
That's cool!
Rory,
My six, which I bought in 1981 from Chris Worley on the recommendation of Fred Apgar is 0311. Steve Gaglione’s old six, which he bought around the same time was 0310. It is for sale in the upper mid west recently I think. The engine numbers are 5 numbers apart. Both were sold new in Connecticut. It’s a very small world.
Charlie
Rory,
As always your work is meticulous. Love the close numbers on those 6’s

Nice cars, but aren't the serial numbers 113 apart not 13 apart?
Typo?

Nice crocks!
Nice work Rory. That car is beautiful. Good luck to your friend.
This pics he took.. what a great reference for originality.

Was just going to comment on the BAT car- looks very nice. Can't believe he's selling it!!!!!!
Every day I say I should have never sold my '71 real 6...
Wait, is that EJM the same as our @http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=224 ?

Pretty damn cool !!
How did you get that overhead shot Rory? Did you climb on top of the Westy?
Stand on the Westy roof ? No way
Probably a eight foot ladder.
Nothing elaborate.......at least not like your used to Mr Madison Ave !
Was this car in NJ in the 1991 time frame before it was restored by chance?
SOLD ! $68,500 Going to Europe
A rerun of the family reunion is going to be far less likely in the future.
Sorry to see the long lost twin go.
My lucky orange streak continues.
There's even a VIN angle to this addition.
I recently acquired a very nice numbers matching 914 6 that was delivered new in California.. It's a very rust free, damage-free car. And very complete.
This car is exactly 1100 cars older than the Canary yellow car I've owned since 2006.
After a nearly twenty year slumber it is awake and runs very well.
I can't wait to clean it thoroughly and do all that it needs.
I'll be proud to enjoy it much as it appears now.

Nice score. Congratulations.
You sir, are on a roll! Luck of the orange. Orange you glad you found that one. Etc etc
I believe he's up to an equivalent month's production from the factory at Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.
You can't have too many Porsches. Just sayin'
