914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Porsche 914 show in El Segundo Ca this Sunday 16th

Looking to have a Porsche 914 Show at the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo California. Date would be around the month of September and need a list of interested owners who would show / attend the event. The plan is to have a car show and a collectible display/ sell area. Swap might be possible but very limited. Space would become an issue and needs to be a small event and hoping we can expand at a later date. There would be a small fee to pay for the show but not calculated yet.
This will most likely be a Saturday event based on availability but Sunday is possible.
Exact dates are not available at this time just getting a idea of interested people.

Oh Lord. Can you spell transitional shock? I'm a TX transplant as well and all I can say is start eating BBQ and Tex-Mex every day until your move cause you won't find it out here. Too bad someone doesn't offer a forum that covers these type moves.
You'll be trading in the Tornado's for Earth Quakes. The Wx here is to die for. Very low humidity and a mild climate to boot. When someone asks you how far away something in TX is you'll likely hear how the distance in miles. In SoCal, because of the traffic, the response will be how many hours away.

They are right next door to the Mattel Hot Wheels garage. They do a open house once in a while. Maybe sync it up.

I plan on having 30 or so spots for 914's in the gated area which will include some early 911's. Some will be parked along the street and directly in front of the Museum.

We can use more sellers. We have several line up but will know till Sunday morning.
Also I will take day of event payment for spots to assure we have a large swap meet. $30.00 a spot to park and sell on side of vehicle.

Change of plans. I just found that the 911 front oil cooler has a hole and is leaking oil.
Since both Porsche’s are on jack stands I have to bring the Honda.

It was great seeing all of the 914 guys out for a Sunday meet-up. The best part was the car museum. Very cool!!!
You could sit in almost all of the old cars there, really an experience.
I sat in a multitude of cars that while I didn't drive them, at least I got a feel for what they are like inside.
This was a great event, well worth the drive and bravo to those who organized it, THANK YOU.

I woke up around noon with a really sore lower back, and hobbled around all day long ... Apparently I messed it up when we were cleaning up after my wife's birthday bash ... pert-near full 100 gallon ice chests aren't a light as they used to be 10 years ago

Thanks to everyone who attended this first Porsche event at the museum. I am planning on the next event and hoping for a larger crowd. Special thanks to the crew Pete,Marcus,Travis and the ADM staff to make this all happen. Stay tuned!
