914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Dell gasket leak.

Posted by: bandjoey May 20 2018, 04:10 PM

These Dells are going on 4 to 5 years since rebuild. They run great but the gaskets must be leaking on both sides. Only stains and no liquid gas or fumes anywhere. These pictures represent about 6 months of stains.

So what’s the danger to keep driving for a few months or is it immediate rebuild time. I did snug the base nuts and none were loose.

That's normal for both Dells and Webers. Doesn't even mean they need a rebuild - they just do that smile.gif
