914World.com _ 914World Garage _ What's A Fair Price?

Posted by: markb Jun 11 2005, 07:57 PM

A fellow lister has a pair of adjustable Bilsteins with 140# springs. 1000 miles on them. What's a fair price for me to pay? We've both agreed to go by what the majority of the Club members say. TIA.

1000 miles on a daily driven commuter is, like, two weeks.

The wear will be near zip...

80-90% of cost of new.

I think Z's about right (he's a mo-ron, yup, fur sure)

I took the going price on a set of Billy's new and said 70% and then gave $40.00 for the 140's.

$192.60 and that doesn't take into account the adjustable perches.

(I've got a set as well if there's any buyers left over once Z sells his)

Um, guys? New from Bilstein, $102.00 each for sports. Springs would be extra. Sounds like your prices are pretty close.
