I put this together today.
I don't know what an original looks like.
I used part of an old 911 fender and a tailpipe that came on a Vanagon.
I'll attach it with two screws.
What does an original look like ?

It worries me to leave that hole pretty much open for all kinds of road junk and water to get into the long.

Looks good .. Again I think they are all custom..
