the car is horrible though, people purchased new so want it restored

Now just pick up a 5 gallon bucket of bondo and fill it in. "Little putty, little paint, make it look like what it ain't."

HHHmmm,unsure why you are plama gutting panels out ??? not the norm,messy cut and requires more work to clean up than a cutoff wheel ,is this a new resto thread or something else.
