914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Anyone heard of this?

Is this wierd? Just took my door panels off, and no supports. Yet, the car has the good (better) regulators, even the fuzzy channel, no roller blink.gif ? Good for me, s'pose.

Car was built 11/72, sold in Bev. Hills, CA.

Yep, they did that through mid - '73 MY. Not as rare as you might think, but nice.

I have a 73 built 10 of 72 w/ no impact beams w/ late window regulators. I don't think impact beams came until mid 73.

Can you put late regulators in early doors?

You can do anything, if you know how to weld.... rolleyes.gif

It is, I hear, a very ugly job to put the late-model regulators into an early door.

I bought a set of late doors for my car. I am doing the swap just for safety, don't care about the extra weight.

At some point I will have the early doors w/ late window regulators for sale. Az car w/ no rust on the doors.
