I just wanted to say thanks to Jenny, again, I see her post and that song pops into my head and wont go away. Maybe I should listen to Country or rap or something else.

Jenny Jenny who can I turn to?
You give me something, I can hold on to,
I know you think I'm like, the others before,
Who saw your name and number, on the wall

Jenny I got your number,
I need to make you mine
Jenny dont change your number

You know the rest, its going through your head now laugh.gif

Tommy Two Tone lives here in my city Lake Oswego Oregon. He once came to a city council meeting and sung a protest to a development that I was doing near his neighborhood.

Tommy Two Tone ...

I always think it's Tom Petty when I hear it - I never seem to be able to remember Tommy Two Tone - did he ever do anything else? (besides mess with Craig?)

Yep, Tommy One Tune.

Scott, would it help if Jenny changed her name to something else, like maybe Sharona?

Naw, not really but thanks for trying, I never cared much for the knack anyway. Another one hit wonder and I never cared for that song, it didnt make any sense.

I was channel surfing the other night and saw Tommy Two Tone on some show where they bring back old burned out performers and let them sing for cash or something. This episode had the Knack, Motels, Tommy Two Tone, some guy who's name I don't know, and, hold-your-breath, Vanilla Ice. ohmy.gif

Vanilla took the prize! No, really, I'm serious, numero uno! w00t.gif

I was singing his rap song for a day or two! laugh.gif

The Knack and Tommy Two Tone weren't too bad for old geezers. cool_shades.gif

Luke, It is a way to care the theme of the message on into the signature.

What is Love--Haddaway.....
sweet-ass sweet song.
i like the movie "night at the roxbury"

Well, I posted this for Jen to see but she never replied, I hope I didnt hurt her feelings. As for that show, I saw that too and though that it sucked that vanilla Ice got the win. I think he is one of those wannabeblack guys and have never liked or respected him. In my opinion he is now and always has been a loser. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it just means I am a little old fashioned and stuck in my ways.

See, I can be an asshole too dry.gif

Not so, he was not a one hit wonder, he had many good songs in his career. Many of which were remade by other artisits. That song was just one of his best and very high up on the all time hits from any artist. It's a great song and has meaning. One of my personal favorites.
