Has anyone bought this book and found it to be useful? I'm looking for something to supplement my Haynes manual:

Same book, different cover.
Find a pdf copy of the factory workshop manual.

I was told the book was an abbreviated Haynes manual. Auto Atlanta has the factory manual on CD for $50. Is that a reasonable price?

I was hoping to find a book that was different than the Haynes manual, just to have another, alternate source. Haynes manual has been great, I just like having multiple sources. I have the clymer book, but it's really for -6 owners. I also have the tech tip book from AA.

Reach out to Conedoger. He has the factory manual on pdf.

I found these as a free download:

Are they the same thing AA is charging $50 for?

I'm glad it covers the "S" model.

This is not the same as the Haynes 914 Manual, nor the Clymer 914 Manual. It is published by Autobooks, and has had at least two different covers. I have a copy and would say the detail is similar to the Haynes and Clymer manuals.

I have that one also.
Real nice plastic cover.
They all use the factory illustrations, text is usually copied, sometimes with omissions.
Sometimes a writer can add a little something with personal experience, but for pure data factory technical manual is the schize-nit.
Mic drop...
