The past few months I have been working on our 914s for Okteenerfest, this started to churn in my head. It started when I heard the song it is based on while listening to the radio, and part of the chorus popped in to my head.


And yes, I did sing it. I was a bit "lubricated" at the time.

I edited it to include the two new verses.

For those of you who don't know this, my wife, Betty, had her 914 when I met her 33 years ago. So the end of the last chorus is dedicated to her.

Sold one of my teeners,

and bought me a Ghia,
