So is it the throw out bearing ??
New one was put in when i did the transmission 5 years ago, but thats less than 5,000 miles. maybe i have the clutch cable too tight?

ideas appreciated!

Very possible it's the TO bearing. The same thing happened to my Tacoma - I just lived with the squeak until it was time to replace the clutch disc.

I chased a 'chirping' for some time. It was a broken alt bracket. I couldn't maintain the correct belt tension and alignment either. PITA task to r&r the bracket. I surrendered and pulled engine to fix the issue.
