Back to the future or something like that.

993 built from a body in white and all new parts.

That car will sell for half a million and can't be registered for the street. Read the last line of the article. Bill of sale only. Wonder what the cost of doing a 914 would be?

Half a million is singer pricing. I’m guessing 3-5 million for a 1 off Porsche like this. Maybe more. It’s a trophy car that someone will want for their collection, not to drive.

Cool car, but I am still having trouble getting used to calling a 993 a "classic" car.

Really neat that they used the modern paint application on a 993.

My guess is $1.35M.

I had to buy some parts for our '98 S70 Volvo a few months back, they came from their Classic Volvo department: )

Neat 993, saw it at Rennsport, I liked the newer turbo model painted the same color next to it better.

Lacquer?? That's strange as no one uses that anymore..

When you pass the 1 million mark, the numbers become meaningless. It's still a beautiful car in every respect and will most likely fetch a record price. I wish they would give the same treatment to a 914.
