914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Help with a VIN

Posted by: n2j2ryan Nov 20 2018, 09:50 PM

I just picked up a 73 for a parts car. It is pretty rusty throughout, but I purchased it because it has a near perfect interior. I have started to strip everything off but before I do anything to the body, I just wanted to check the VIN to see if anyone is looking for this car or....

The VIN is 4742903160

Thanks

October usually is the cut over month for the new model year, interesting!

Yeah - 9/73 is the mfg date, but it's a '74 model year car.

Can you shoot a pic of the Karman plates that's mounted in the front of thepassenger door; I'll add the Chassis # and original color code; would you have a motor number too ?

That's what I am trying to decide. It is very rusty and I don't know if I have the time or money for another project. Still trying to complete my 72.Attached Image
