I am looking for some aftermarket seats, some cheap and comfortable seats that fit ok.
If anyone has some information, please let me know.

The GTS Le Mons seats are a direct fit for the 914 with a backpack. Others can fit if you remove the backpack.

I bought a set 10+ years ago; excellent craftsmanship and the owner, Stephan, is good to work with.

Cheap and comfortable would be stock. GTS seats are great but start at $700/each. Make sure you use seats built for a 914 or they probably won't fit correctly and unless you are really short, they will sit you too high.

The classic car seats are really great and Stephan goes out of his way to make them perfect. Expensive though

Another cheap alternative is the Corbeau seat, they fit fine and look good in the car (for a cheap seat!!!)

So I have another related question. I like the GTS and Corbeau seats. I'm about 6', when I track race the car I pull out the seat cushion to fit with a helmet on. Anyone know which seats would be better for me? If I dont pull out the seat cushion I still fit but just barely, easy to scrap the helmet on the roof.

Hmm. the seats need to be narrow for the 914. how about seats that would fit an Elise?

Talk to Stefan at GTS. He makes the seats to order and can make sure it will work for you.
