Here's something new,

The 2018 SoCal 914World Holiday Get Together!!!




Putting it out there to all interested parties to meet up for lunch to usher in the Holiday Season! This will be a social event only for several hours for the camaraderie of fellow members. Come enjoy a great meal and good times at:

La Huasteca
6940 Beach Blvd.,
Buena Park, CA 90621

Located on the 3rd floor of The Source.

December 22nd at 1:00pm

Please RSVP to this thread only to make sure everyone is accounted for. Chose the OC due to the high concentration of World Members in the area and to allow for a mid-point for LA and San Diego as well.

Hope to see you there. Should be something for everyone.

Nice...here is our own semi-enclosed patio.
Reserved...ALL SET...

Parking structure entrance is off Beach, just north of Orangthorpe, 3 min from either 5 or 91 fwys.

Our parking is on level 6 (roof top) and restaurant is on level 4. Easy walk or elevator ride from parking area.

We don't discriminate, as long as you can tolerate 914 talk.

Your truck will fit...I Checked...parking structure vehicle height clearance is 8 ft-2 in

Another option...come in a helicopter. There's a helipad up top.

Well, apparently, my wife scheduled to have the carpets cleaned today and 'sort of forgot' to let me know until late last evening, so we have to move everything out of the living & dining room in preparation for the early afternoon appointment.

So unless we can get it done in a timely manner, I won't be making an appearance at this event

I'll try my best, but will have to play it by ear

Great meeting all of you at the "support group" meeting today for 914s Anonymous. It was hilarious hearing that many of you own multiple 914s. Looks like I'm at least one short.

Also, thanks for choosing that particular restaurant. The #3 was damn good.

Bummed that I couldn't make it, but the up-side is, we have nice clean carpets for the holidays

Gotta move all the furniture back tomorrow

Also, a friend stopped by and dropped off a nice walnut book case and another friend came by and helped get a new sleeper sofa out of my trailer and into the house. We barely squeezed it through the doorway of the newly remodeled den. ... If the door were 1" narrower, it wouldn't have made it


Looks like you had a really good turnout ... hopefully I can get out and attend the next one

Strange--all my pictures on my computer are oriented correctly--yet they are appearing crooked--

I think it chooses to grab the file as it was taken, despite the fact that I changed the orientation---so sorry!
