I have 5 fuchs that were plasti dipped by the previous owner. I would like to remove the plasti dip and restore them to factory standards. Does anyone know how to do this and / or know where I could take them to have it done? I am in the mid atlantic area.

I have no experience with Plasti dip but I thought one of the benefits was that you can just peel it off when you want to remove it.

If you put dip on too thick it breaks off in small bits and can be a PITA to remove.

To restore 4 rims it can easily be 40+ hours of work, why it's not cheap for a good job. A ceramic vibrator would be one way the pro's cut time, but way too expensive for the amatuer.
