Thats hot!

They don't seem to have the cfm for much over 1700 cc engines , although I have seen one on a 1904 type one..
Adapted, sure!
Not sure how easy the adaptation would be. This is an upright cooling setup with a fairly robust crank pulley that can be doubled to run the SC belt. Plus it doesn't have a sloping firewall where that SC pulley is.

I am a HUGE fan of trying to SC a T4. I have a plan for my 1.8 in the '74 and don't really mind if I blow it up.
I remember a supercharged pic on this site but it was some old. I have also seen a turbo one with ITBs and cannot remember where or if it ended well.
A friend picked one of these up at a PnP in S. CA this year for $85:

A custom pulley and some aluminum plenum fab.
Then blow through some ITBs like these:

Add engine management and BOOM probably.
That SC whine just behind your head...oh my!
Probably a dumb idea but it might be fun to try.
My buddy is adapting one for a 40hp bug motor that he has in his '53 bug.
He has the original 25hp engine, but that needs 5 miles on a 45* downhill with a tailwind to hit 60mph.
Copy of instructions for Judson II SC:

I kind of remember ads for Judsons in Popular Mechanics or similar back in the 60s (well I think it was the 60s)
Great to see innovation in this market.
Longest ever engine....
Mario at theDubshop has run one of those SC's on his 1600 Beetle with nice results.
(for a stock 1600 engine)
