Found this site while looking to replace a broken piece on the Volvo: seen they have the 914 listed. Evidently, they carry The most commonly broken years.

It is who I use for all my repairs, parts quality is very solid.
You will have to measure the thickness of the gear, and get the one that is larger, you then have to finish it to the same thickness.
I use a Sherline Lathe to do this, but can be done with a flat plate and some sound paper.
Not the easiest repair, but not the hardest either.
Thanks for the info: Pelican has an excellent How-To article.....and they sell that gear as well.
Oh crap. I just paid $300 for this repair on the SC If I only knew this in advance, I could have spent $30 and spent the rest on Jack Daniels. What a waste.
