Teener Gent's, Can we get a list who would be interested in attending. We will have Ruby's dinner for a food truck. Let's all get this show to happen more often. Closing the whole street would be in the future and have the largest showing of 914's on the planet.

2800 mi. cross country jaunt (for two great events) would be a stretch ....but I'd love to do it.
Sept. vacay in Crete/Rhodes a bit too far I fear.
Wish I could be in two places at once.

I'm going to be in LA on Saturday for Rare Shades 4, put on by 000 magazine but won't be in a 914.
Any info on parking if you're in a Porsche that isn't AC'ed?? Doesn't look like a lot of space for displays etc when I street map the place.

@http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=12732 - When we have gone to this event in the past there has been ample street parking in the area.
Side note: would enjoy saying hello...former Iowan here who gets back with some frequency....

It is out on the street. There are plenty of fire hydrants and power poles, so I would assume so.

Good point... even if they don’t allow dogs in the museum, it won’t be a big deal.

Thought about staying around for this but just the traffic trying to get into the LA for the Rare Shades 4 event on Saturday cured me of staying in the area any longer.
Pete Stout put together an amazing collection of 914's for the Rare Shades event on 9/14 including a great panel discussion including Alan Johnson and several others.
I believe a lady in the back in a wheel chair was the 101 year old original owner of the first 914 sold in LA which was on display. Almost a clone of my car, silver with the aftermarket American mags, which I had before I converted to a 6 suspension with Fuchs.
And the first 916 prototype (Brutus) built for the Piech family!!
Nicely done Pete!!
