omg - AA will give you a tray, a support, a clamp and bolt, AND an acid matt for 80.00
i need just the tray and support though....
yup, there are some things that PPs prices blow on... compare tie-rod ends and with them and paragon...
you can buy 2 CHT kits from CBperformance for 1 at pelican...
I say this though... I never worry about getting my pelican order... their service has always been x-cellent... they just need to comparison shop to be the tops..

I talked to RD the other day he is about 3 weeks out on the tray and supports. Making engine shelves right now .
BTW he called me back twice, last week
RD package price for both pieces $48
have you tried this place? I think it was bought by AA. I don't know anything else about them and have never ordered from them, but I was looking at their prices the other day and wondered if they were still current.

anyone try them?
Battery tray?
Oh, yeah ......the sacrifical anode in the engine bay.
They last slightly longer than the zinc on the rudder of a boat.
When your first one disappeared, ya shoulda got a clue.
Leave them to the CWs is my unsolicited advice.
Engman doesn't make them?
Battery tray at www.tweeks.com is $21.99.

$21.99 is how much Tweeks pays for their internet connection?

I have a tray and support that came out of my car. They were dipped so they are bare metal but coated with cold zinc so no rust.
Make me an offer and I will UPS them right out.
Put the battery in the front trunk where it belongs.
Cheers, Elliot
I know AA has got them $50 and $24...any problems and I can help..
I bought the support and made my own tray out of an old computer case for this very reason. It works fine - in some respects a little better since it has a better grip on the optima.
Another point. Look at smaller batteries, Odyssey, Mazda Miata battery, they weigh considerable less and do the same as the heavier Optimas.
