Looking to buy a fuel pump for my 75 2.0. At Pelican Parts, the Bosch is $167.50, the Dansk is $65.25. It begs the questions: What justifies more than $100 difference? Is the Bosch that much better? Is there any reason to avoid the Dansk? Anyone have experience with both?

Your paying for the Bosch name. Do not think the Bosch pumps are made in Germany any more. With the Dansk name it will be made in Europe. I would go with the Dansk. MOST electrical warranty is only 90 days. China pumps on Ebay go for about $30.

I like Pelican, but the Bosch pump was only 90$ from Amazon.

Dansk fuel pumps are not made in Europe. I would bet money on that

I got a Bosch 69133 pump from Amazon back in 2016 for $67. It replaced my original non-working pump and works just fine. Doesn't seem to be available from Amazon any longer. I wish I would have got a second one as a spare.

Bosch is getting out of the spares game it appears. A lot of their product is OEM only now and is not available in the spares area outside the dealer network. The later the car the more you will see this. they also are discontinuing LOTS of parts and even spark plugs

I thought the Airtex External Electric Fuel Pumps E8445 was the go to replacement fuel pump.

I don't see this option in the thread; are the listed products preferred to to the Airtex?
