Hi guys - dogging into the dual Weber’s for the 2.0L engine. I am a total Weber newbie so thanks and advance for being patient

The car these came off apparently sat for a while and the tubes need to be soaked in thoroughly cleaned, but is long as all the passageways are open and clear I don’t really care what they look like, do I?

The tips are both stamped 120.

They are relatively cheap. Just replace them (and anything else that looks sketchy).

If those tubes look like that, then it might be a good idea to open up the carbs and look for other corrosion. I am guessing you have 40 webers. You will more than likely need to rejet for a 2.0. 120 mains are small.

Pull them apart into the 4 pieces and check the air correction size too.
The emulsion tubes are probably usable after a good ultrasonic cleaning. Should be F11.
Replace the threaded holders with tall ones. They work better.
Look closely inside the wells for dry deposits. Blow thru all the fuel passages to make sure none are blocked.
I've had to drill out lead plugs to clear passages in a couple of really bad 40IDFs before. Those carbs had a lot of white deposits and the emulsion tube wells were so bad I had to use drill bits (by hand) to clear them.

There's only two, short and tall. You have the short ones but the tall ones are better.
I usually buy my Weber parts from Pierce Manifolds.
