here is going to be a big festival put on by PCNA at their headquarters and then on sunday at our place, it will start friday night with a dinner, saturday with a festival, and sunday with an open house here at automobile atlanta. Porsche is sponsoring it all, hope we can get cleaned up in time!!!! "stay tuned"

I received the PCNA announcement on this today via email. Too bad its the same weekend....

I wonder if PCNA would be willing to send a representative up to Okteenerfest or send up to Blowing Rock some of the goodies that they will likely have at their Experience Center (hint, hint, nudge, nudge Mike Blizzard)?

Porsche is notorious for last minute planning, just like this event, not even thinking that there would be another 914 event happening at the same time.

They, however are really going all out for this, hope it gets well attended.

Okteenerfest is the largest 914 gathering in the world, it is supposed to be PCA and 914registry sponsored, they have to have a clue that our official outing is this eekend as it is every year and yet they choose the same weekend ?? STUPID

I have to ask, but I assume that George you must have said something to them about this as soon as they told you they were planning on this event at PCNA----

Good luck but I am sure you may attract a few people that cant or wont come to Okteenerfest- if they really wanted to celebrate the 50th year of the 914 they would have coordinated this with the 914registry and owners------------ almost mad enough to call them and cancel my membership- no I am not joking.

I called PECATL yesterday for details on the event and the guy I spoke to didn’t know about it. He put me on hold to try to find out but to no avail. Said they would call or email when they had more info. What a cluster f***!

I agree, they are well known for last minute things, Ezra is handling it for Porsche and his number is 678 760 5250
