This should be interesting....
Okay...JLO is 1974 Chevy Stepside Pickup Truck Yellow on the outside. It's a very nice yellow. I'm keeping that.
Engine bay is yellow
Front and rear trunks are shot with Chevy black and white flake bedliner spray, including wires, cables, blower motors, etc.....
I'm going to clean them up.
So....what color should I shoot the trunk and bay? yellow to match?
This is a hot rod...so maybe bright red or blue?
Okay 914Club.....let her rip!

Look to the flag for my color advice.
Yellow car - red trunks - black trim.
Yellow or red.
Black would be a nice contrast that fits the scheme perfectly, but it's dark and it would be nice to have a brighter color down inside there.
Yellow is good, especially since the engine bay is yellow.
If you want contrast and like the idea of introducing another color, I vote red. (And paint the brake calipers to match! )
Trunks?? Pick Up?
Its been a long time since I've been under the hood of one of those off brand trucks, but IIRC the firewall should be body color, the AC/Heater case black plastic and the inner fenders and core support universal black (semi flat)
Sumt'in like this, only yellow where the blue is.
OH I'm with you now, you said JLO is pickuptruck yellow, not a pickuptruck...
It takes me a few minutes sometimes
My first choice would be the same yellow as the outside.
second would be a tie between black or battle ship grey...
Come on Bill, cut some panels out and chrome them!!! Extra insulation and removable for maintenance. It's a rod for heaven's sake...
Damn Felix,
I knew you were going to chime in with the chrome thing!.....
I'm leaning towards red in the trunks and either yellow or another color with chrome and black in the engine bay.....gloss black too....
