The trunk hinge bolts are under constant stress, both front and rear.
Even in the closed position there is constant spring tension. Now you can replace all 4 of these bolts inexpensively.
They typically go for @$10 each.
We even supply the lube. Aluminum copper graphite grease If you have ever had one of these break you will note a ounce of prevention is well worth avoiding the ensuing hassle.
So who's in ?

I'm interested Mark. Can you swap bolts out one at a time without removing the trunk?
The spring will need to be disconnected, but pretty sure you could do one at a time much easier.
I'd do new rollers while things are apart. Lever one side off at a time.
