914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 600 FT SLALOM SPEED FOR A 914?

I like to look at the slalom speed before 0-60 or 1/4 on new cars, did any magazines ever test a 914

There were lots of magazine tests of the 914, but they're all 30 years old, and the testing systems were often different then. They were also made on tires of that era, which didn't grip nearly as well as current tires, so the numbers won't necessarily be comparable with modern test figures.

The best test is simply looking at average autocross times across a number of events. A 914 is a very close match for a Miata in head-to-head competition. They're still doing well even at the National level of competition.

You talking 1.7, 1.8, or 2.0 (four or six)

There all a little diff...

the 2.0 is like 9.8 0-60 sec...

What national level?
Not a single 914 listed in C/S at any national tour event or at the finals.

I am forced to call bs.gif
