This is a brand new part for your 914 that we just had made. If you do not recognize it your appearance group car has probably been missing it for awhile. Never available separately, it finishes off nicely.

Should be an easy guess as to what it is

is it a trim piece for the rear roof hold down handle ?

Actually not though, just a bit for easy fitment used are really collapsed.
