914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Route 66 2020

Posted by: michael7810 Dec 22 2019, 09:26 AM

I‘m taking a break won’t be able to help plan Rt66 in 2020 so that I can be with my wife while she goes thru cancer treatment. She just had rectal cancer surgery and will be starting 4 months of chemo in January. After that is a second round of radiation. Hopefully her life will be somewhat back to normal after the summer.

Wishing you all a great 2020 and as many others have said here, DUDES- GET YOUR COLONOSCOPY.

I need 6-9 months lead time in order to reserve the cabins that we had in Idylwilde a few years back. Outside of Palm Springs. Idylwilde or Big Bear we'd be knee deep in SoCal traffic. Not fun. Maybe @http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=481 can put together another AZ Rt66? confused24.gif John always comes up with the BEST shirts. piratenanner.gif

Idylwild is a terrific location, some of the accommodations were very rustic too... smile.gif

Would the Grand Canyon be a reasonable stop?

Posted by: Coondog Dec 22 2019, 02:28 PM

I think it’s Arizona’s turn. Bet we could talk Moveqik into another Thursday night get together or do Old town Scottsdale Thursday night. Friday morning take the 87 to Payson for the night. Sat. drive to Winslow, Flagstaff, Williams or other ??

First thing is to pick a date. May should be perfect Arizona weather.

May 1-2-3
May 8-9-10

Just my 2 cents...... idea.gif
