Want to freshen up the protective plates (tins) on my brakes. Any thoughts on stripping the finish?
Easiest is have them media blasted & powder coated.
DIY - wire wheel and some high temp rattle can paint.
Yep. Kinda what I was doing, hoping there was some magic chemical that could strip these things quickly.
Can you use lemon juice or vinegar?
