Posted by: CheeRS Jan 27 2020, 04:43 PM

Hello, I thing my MC start to die, brakes are spongy and when I keep the pressure on the pedal, slowly, this one continu to join the floor.

Would like to keep the pressure sensor warning, should I find a new MC with this sensor ?
17 or 19 no matter.
Thanks
Fred from Paris

Get the MC from 914rubber, install your old switch.

Hunt for a NOS MC, I don't think OE came with a a switch, sold separately.

I'm very happy with my 19mm M/Cyl from 914rubber. I just used the single wire switch that came on it. Still works the same way to ground the warning light circuit, just without the dedicated ground wire.

It's not a pressure switch anyway, it's just a plunger switch that is actuated by a little spool that moves if you lose hydraulic pressure in one side of the brake circuit or the other.
